Convention of States

For three days this September, the Convention of States Foundation and Patriot Academy will revive the spirit of the Founding Fathers.

At the George Mason level, you will sponsor the closing floor debate and vote of the Grassroots Commissioners attending the simulated Article V convention. At the 1787 Constitutional Convention, it was George Mason who highlighted the necessity of a mechanism within the Constitution that would allow the people to reclaim power from a tyrannical government. His vision was so obvious, it was adopted without debate and became Article V.
