Contributions to Conforti for Congress are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Personal contributions are limited to $3,500 per election, $7,000 for couples, per election cycle. An individual may write one check for $7,000 and indicate “primary/general” in the memo of the check. A couple may write a check for up to $14,000 from a joint account (where both names are listed on the account) if “primary/general” is indicated in the memo of the check and this form is completed and signed by both contributors. Federal multi-candidate PACs may contribute $5,000 for the primary and $5,000 for the general election. 


Federal law requires us to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year. Contributions from corporations, labor organizations, federal government contractors, and foreign nationals without permanent residency status ("green cards") are prohibited.
