In July 2022, we unexpectedly lost a friend and colleague with the death of Pat Michaels. Pat was an empiricist with a great talent for communication and a sly sense of humor. He is missed greatly.

Pat’s family encourages anyone who would like to contribute to the continuation of his professional vision to consider supporting CEI’s policy efforts.
