North Carolina law allows an individual or state-registered political action committee (PAC) to contribute up to $5,400 per election. Contributions from corporations, business entities, labor unions, professional associations and insurances companies are prohibited. Cash contributions in excess of $50 are prohibited. Anonymous contributions are prohibited. State law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the full name, mailing address, job title or profession, and employer’s name or employer’s specified field of business activity of individuals whose contributions exceed $50 in an election.
