Our Story

I am Patsy Austin-Gatson, your District Attorney for Gwinnett County.

As a mother, wife, grandmother, and proud daughter, I know the struggles of being left out. I worked hard to go to school and achieved my goals.

As the first African American and the first woman to hold this office, I have transformed the culture of the DA's office to be more effective and inclusive to our diverse community. I have continued to bring justice to families while providing opportunities to educate our youth not incarcerate.
