COGA is always working to increase the industry’s visibility by increasing our political leadership. Our most direct way to accomplish this goal is through the Colorado Energy Education Political Action Committee (CEEPAC).

The purpose of CEEPAC is to provide the oil and gas industry a crucial voice in the Colorado political process by educating and providing financial support to candidates for state and local office who support COGA’s public policy values. 

CEEPAC is funded exclusively by voluntary contributions from COGA members.

The political battles remain on the horizon and COGA is dedicated to supporting state and local candidates who show a commitment to a strong oil and gas business climate in Colorado.

The Colorado Energy Education PAC (CEEPAC) can accept up to $625 per contributor per two-year election cycle and cannot accept contributions from foreign citizens, foreign corporations, or foreign governments. CEEPAC may give direct contributions to candidates, political parties, political committees, and make independent expenditures of express advocacy.

CEEPAC collects and makes contributions or other expenditures for influencing the selection, nomination or appointment of any individual for state and local elections, in accordance with the Colorado campaign finance laws and other applicable laws. Contributions to CEEPAC are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes.
