Citizens for Healthcare Excellence Action Fund

Citizens for Healthcare Excellence Action Fund (Action Fund) is a political organization dedicated to supporting qualified candidates for the Sarasota County Public Hospital Board. The Hospital Board is responsible for oversight of the Sarasota Memorial Health (SMH) Care System.

We aim to identify and support candidates best equipped to protect the legacy of quality medical care that SMH provides for our community through voter education and engagement.

SMH is a high-quality world-renowned leader in delivering excellent healthcare to our region. They are also the health-care safety net, delivering most of the county’s inpatient Medicaid and charity care to our most vulnerable.
