Citizens Defending Freedom (CDF) celebrates a major victory as Miami-Dade public schools launch a pilot program to place chaplains in schools, thanks to the passage of HB 931 and HB 1317. This initiative, supported by CDF and other nonprofits, marks the first district in Florida to embrace such a program, fostering religious freedom in education.
Superintendent Dr. Jose L. Dotres will oversee the integration of chaplains from various faiths, with results reviewed for a permanent decision.
“This is a great win for religious freedom in our schools,” says Isabella Rodriguez, CDF County Executive Director.
