Colin Hosten is running for State Representative for the 140th district because we need a stronger advocate in Hartford. Too many residents have been left out of the process. Too many voices have been ignored.

Colin has been a lecturer in the undergraduate Core Writing program at Fairfield University for several years. He serves as a member of the Human Relations Commission for the city of Norwalk, and is the current Recording Secretary of the Norwalk Democratic Town Committee. He is also a Board Member for the Triangle Community Center.

The son of career teachers in Trinidad, Colin attended Morehouse College on a scholarship, before moving to New York, where he earned his first graduate degree, in Publishing, at NYU, and went on to pursue a career as an editor. In 2008, he moved to Norwalk, and eventually bought a home in Village Creek, where he is the current President of the HOA Board.

Colin knows that Norwalk works best for its residents when municipal and state leaders work together. It is time to hold our elected leaders accountable. We hope you will join the campaign and learn more about why Colin is the right choice for the 140th district. Any contributions from individuals are greatly appreciated.
