She served as foreperson for one of our state's longest and most significant public corruption grand jury investigations, and is a nationally recognized author and preservationist. Catherine accepts neither donations nor endorsements from foreign interests, the only candidate standing without compromise for the people of South Carolina.
Catherine submitted paperwork to be a write-in candidate on March 31st, the final day to file. Some may not know that Strom Thurmond, Lindsey Graham's predecessor in the US Senate, won his seat as a write-in candidate. Our goal is to see that Lindsey Graham's elected successor be write-in candidate Catherine Fleming Bruce.
In our view, a write-in vote is like a text that gets immediate attention, and has impact by putting the will of the people at the forefront, rather than the voices of billionaires, party elites and special interests.
