Contributions from corporations, foreign nationals, unions, and federal government contractors are prohibited. Contributions to Mark Burns for Congress are not deductible for federal income tax purposes. The maximum contribution is $2,700 per person, per election. The first $2,700 of each individual's aggregate contribution will be allocated to the 2018 Primary, the second $2,700 of each individual's aggregate contribution will be allocated to the 2018 Primary Runoff, and the third $2700 will be allocated to the 2018 General Election. Married couples may give up to $10,800 from common funds, but both names must be on the account. Federal multi-candidate PACs may contribute $5,000 per election. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, address, employer, and occupation for an individual whose contributions exceed $200 in an election cycle.
