Pend d'Oreille Bay Trail Hiking Tour with Steve Gill

Have you ever wondered about the ruins along the Pend Oreille Bay Trail? This is your chance, during low water, to learn about the Humbird Lumber Mill, the Panhandle Smelting and Refining Company, and everything in between! Join environmental historian Steve Gill on this 4-mile morning hike along the Pend Oreille Bay Trail, all the way out to Black Rock and back to City Beach. This tour will happen rain or shine. Be prepared for any conditions- it will be an adventure!

Tickets are limited to 30 people, and ticket sales close the night before, so don't wait! The group will meet by the interpretive signs at the south end of the Edgewater Resort parking lot- please park at City Beach, not at the POBT trailhead.

Attendee does hereby release and forever discharge and hold harmless BCHS and its successors and assigns from any and all liability, claims, and demands of whatever kind or nature, either in law or in equity, which arise or may hereafter arise from Attendee's Activities with BCHS.

Attendee understands that this Release discharges BCHS from any liability or claim that the Attendee may have against BCHS with respect to any bodily injury, personal injury, illness, death, or property damage that may result from Attendee's Activities with BCHS, whether caused by the negligence of BCHS or its officers, directors, employees, or agents or otherwise. Attendee also understands that BCHS does not assume any responsibility for or obligation to provide financial assistance or other assistance, including but not limited to medical, health, or disability insurance in the event of injury or illness. 

Attendee does hereby release and forever discharge BCHS from any claim whatsoever which arises or may hereafter arise on account of any first aid, treatment, or service rendered in connection with the Attendee's Activities with BCHS. 

Attendee hereby expressly and specifically assumes the risk of injury or harm in the Activities and releases BCHS from all liability for injury, illness, death, or property damage resulting from the Activities. The Attendee understands that BCHS does not carry or maintain health, medical, or disability insurance coverage for any Attendee.

Attendee does hereby grant and convey unto BCHS all right, title, and interest in any and all photographic images and video or audio recordings made by BCHS during the Attendee's Activities with BCHS, including, but not limited to, any royalties, proceeds, or other benefits derived from such photographs or recordings. 

Attendee expressly agrees that this Release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Idaho, and that this Release shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Idaho. Attendee agrees that in the event that any clause or provision of this Release shall be held to be invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such clause or provision shall not otherwise affect the remaining provisions of this Release which shall continue to be enforceable.
