Bonner County Historical Society presents Jack Nisbet
The Bonner County Historical Society invites members and the public to its 2026 Annual Membership Meeting on Tuesday, April 28 at 5:00 p.m. at The Hive, 207 N. First Avenue in Sandpoint. The meeting will include board reports, volunteer recognition, and trustee elections — and it's free to attend.
Immediately following, renowned author Jack Nisbet takes the stage to share stories from an in-progress collection of essays about birds. Nisbet's love of birds began in childhood, when his mother and grandmother introduced him to the birds of the Catawba River in the Carolinas — a passion that has threaded its way through a celebrated writing career exploring the human and natural history of the Pacific Northwest. Tickets for the presentation are $18 for adults and $5 for youth 18 and under; BCHS members pay $15, and member youth attend free.
Become a BCHS member for 20% off adult tickets and free youth tickets. Discounted tickets only available during pre-sales or if you bring your physical BCHS membership card with you day-of.
