Historic Drive & Discover Tour: Pend Oreille River

Saturday, May 2 at 10:00 am – 4:00 pm Pacific Time

History isn't confined to museums—it's in the roads you travel, the buildings you inhabit, and the voices that came before. This spring, venture out and discover the living past all around you. Hit the road and uncover the Pend Oreille River valley’s past and present—from the well-traveled north shore to the remote south bank—visiting historic schools, churches, cemeteries, ferry sites, and more, with local hosts at each stop to bring the stories to life.

You can buy a ticket through this page or at any of the sites day-of (cash only). Pick up a paper map and your wristband at any hosted location (yellow on the map below).

Become a BCHS member for 20% off adult tickets and free youth tickets. Discounted tickets only available during pre-sales or if you bring your physical BCHS membership card with you day-of.
