$2,500 is the maximum individual, legal entity / business or PAC contribution per election cycle for a district office campaign in Louisiana. A big PAC (membership over 250) may give $5,000 per election cycle for a district office campaign in Louisiana. 

State law requires the Campaign to Elect Bob Owen to obtain and report the name, mailing address, and amount of contributions to the committee. 

Persons substantially interested in the gaming industry are prohibited from making contributions in Louisiana to political committees that support candidates. For more information on Louisiana campaign finance law, please go to www.ethics.la.gov.
