Dear Friends and Supporters,

It is truly a pleasure and honor to serve as the County Treasurer of Fort Bend. Starting in 2019, my team and I hit the ground running, implementing targeted changes to our operations and processes to maximize workflow efficiency and business continuity. These improvements quickly reaped benefits, especially during the uncertainty of COVID-19. Additionally, our new depository bank agreement enables Fort Bend County to better utilize enhanced financial services, a vital step in enabling the county’s future growth. We also implemented changes to our physical and cyber security practices, a timely issue in the face of ever-evolving threats, along with improvements to workplace safety. These actions help ensure a thriving and secure workplace.

When I reflect on the past two and a half years, I am proud of our accomplishments. But now more than ever, we need to focus on the future. It is clear that I will have a tough battle ahead and informing voters on accomplishments and plans for the office will be key.
