Between His Shoulders International Ministries

Between His Shoulders is honored to partner with Hope Shine Uganda, a Christian ministry serving vulnerable women and children in Uganda’s urban slum communities.

Founded in 2012 by Joseph Arineitwe, Hope Shine was born from a personal burden to help young girls and women facing rejection, exploitation, poverty, and hopelessness. Many of the women served have little education, limited opportunity, and have come to the city seeking work, only to become trapped in unsafe and underpaid conditions.

Together, Between His Shoulders and Hope Shine Uganda* are working to break the generational cycle of poverty through Christ-centered care, practical support, ministry outreach, and empowerment programs.

BHS supports Hope Shine by providing funding, bringing mission teams to serve on the ground, and strengthening the ministry through ongoing partnership.
