Since our inception, AAHOA has been known for our charitable efforts and work in our local communities, and this year is no exception. With the unprecedented events taking place in the first half of 2020, it’s apparent now, more than ever, that our communities need us – whether for supporting local organizations or COVID-19 relief efforts that will directly impact those who live in the communities in which we live and do business.
To that end, AAHOA is excited to announce its first Charity Golf Tournament of 2020, taking place in Charlotte, NC, at The Golf Club at Ballantyne. Join AAHOA North Carolina Regional Director Akshat Patel and local hosts Jay Trini Patel, Vinay Patel, and Vimal Hardev at one of the nation’s top golf courses as we come together to support local charities, COVID-19 relief efforts, network in person once again, and enjoy two beautiful days of competitive golf.
Throughout the tournament, you will be provided lunch and drinks, and the tournament winners will be announced via all AAHOA social media platforms. In addition, we will be hosting a raffle, in which all proceeds go directly to the charities. If you are interested in donating items and/or services for the raffle, please email dascia@aahoa.com with a description of the item/service and its value.
Of course, your well-being, health, and safety at our AAHOA Charlotte Charity Golf Tournament is our No. 1 priority. As we come out of the COVID-19 crisis, we are taking all of the necessary precautions to keep you safe.
While many of us are looking forward to getting back out into our communities, and networking with one another, AAHOA’s charity golf tournaments serve as an important component of advancing our mission through community engagement. Social Registration (attend event, but not golf): $50
SAFETY
• All attendees will be provided a branded tote bag which will include giveaways from sponsors as well as a face mask + hand sanitizers courtesy of AAHOA. You do not need to wear face masks while golfing, however we do encourage social distancing throughout the tournament.
• Registration desk will be behind a plexiglass, and 6 ft markers will be placed throughout the registration area.
• All f&b will be passed out by gloved and masked volunteers. Meals and volunteers are placed behind plexiglass, and attendees will be able to make their selection from 6 ft marker.
• To adhere to state mandates, we will no longer have a shotgun start for this event, and the sit down dinner on Saturday night has been cancelled. You will now be provided 15 tee times and are encouraged to pick the best time that works for your team.
