National Leader Operations and Men’s Discipleship Ministry in Sierra Leone

Help us support two conferences per year (four total) in Sierra Leone.

MOV Conference Details (Typical):

• 2-2.5 days / 8-10 sessions with small-group breakouts; bonus sessions for church leaders
• 100 men (church leaders, churched, and un-churched men)
• Experienced teachers train on a man’s position in Christ, his priorities and his practices – fundamental biblical manhood
• Unchurched men given opportunity to accept Christ (and men do at each conference!)
• Each man receives: Bible, notebook, food, and water
• Multiple discipleship groups launch
• Per conference costs: $1200-$2200 for Bibles; printing; MOV team lodging, food, and transportation; publicity (radio, posters, etc.); and venue. (Country teams raise local funds to assist as able.)
• MOV Conferences are often the first men’s conferences held in a community or region. (We have conducted ~55 conferences in ~27 countries since 2005.)
