Contributions or gifts to the joint fundraising effort of 2nd to None Anna Paulina Luna, Aliscia Andrews, and Diana Harshbarger Victory Fund are not deductible as charitable contributions for Federal income tax purposes and will be used in connection with federal elections. Contributions from federal government contractors, national banks, or foreign nationals or entities are prohibited.
Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year.
When making a contribution, you certify the following statements are true and accurate:
1. This contribution is made from your personal funds and will not be reimbursed by another person or entity;
2. This contribution is made by a U.S. citizen, lawfully admitted permanent U.S. resident (i.e. Green Card holder), and not a foreign national or entity, federal government contractor, or national bank; and
3. You wish for your contribution to be distributed as specified in the Joint Fundraising Notice below.
JOINT FUNDRAISING NOTICE
This joint fundraising effort is composed of 2ND to None PAC (“PAC”) (FEC ID: C00761361), Anna Paulina Luna for Congress (FEC ID: C00718239), Andrews for Congress (FEC ID: C00721142), and Diana for Congress (FEC ID: C00741090) (individually “CAMPAIGN” and collectively “CAMPAIGNS”), and which form the 2nd to None Anna Paulina Luna, Aliscia Andrews, and Diana Harshbarger Victory Fund (“JFC”) individually and collectively the “PARTICIPANT(S)”.
Any contributions to the joint fundraising effort permissible under the Federal Election Campaign Act, as amended (the “FECA”), 52 U.S.C. §§ 30101 et seq., from contributors who have not exceeded their applicable federal contribution limits shall be allocated among the PARTICIPANTS pursuant to the FECA and the following method:
1. First, CAMPAIGNS shall receive:
a. An amount equal to the first $2,800 of each contribution from an individual or non-multicandidate political committee, $5,000 if from a multicandidate political committee or state party committee, or $2,000 from a federal candidate committee, to the general election.
b. In the event any reallocation of contributions would cause a contributor to exceed applicable contribution limits, such contributions will be distributed in accordance with part (2).
2. Then, PAC shall receive an amount equal to $5,000 of each contribution received from an individual, non-multicandidate political committee, state party committee, or federal candidate committee, subject to the below.
3. In the event any contribution or portion of a contribution to the joint fundraising effort, which upon allocation to any PARTICIPANTS shall be determined to exceed the contribution limit of that donor to any of the PARTICIPANTS, shall be re-allocated to the other PARTICIPANTS to the extent permissible by law. In the event any such re-allocation of Proceeds would cause a contributor to exceed an applicable contribution limit, such Proceeds shall then be returned to the donor.
The contributor’s signature on an accompanying contributor form shall serve as written designation of his or her contribution to the particular election described above.
Any contributor may designate his or her contribution to a specific participating PARTICIPANTS, to the extent permissible by the FECA. Any contributor may make his or her contribution directly payable to any of the specific PARTICIPANTS listed in the Preamble to this Notice. Any such designated or directly payable contribution causing the contributor to exceed the contribution limit to PARTICIPANTS shall not be reallocated by the CAMPAIGN absent prior written permission of the contributor as required by law.
The maximum amount an individual or non-multicandidate political committee may contribute to the joint fundraising effort is $13,400, an amount equal to the sum of $2,800 to the general election account of each CAMPAIGN and $5,000 to the PAC. The maximum amount a multicandidate political committee or state party committee may contribute to the joint fundraising effort is $20,000, an amount equal to the sum of $5,000 to the general election account of each CAMPAIGN, and $5,000 to the PAC. The maximum amount a federal candidate committee may contribute to the joint fundraising effort is $11,000, an amount equal to $2,000 to the general election account of each CAMPAIGN, and $5,000 to the PAC.
