Tyler Soncrainte, a 26-year-old lifelong resident of Waterford Township and a graduate of Waterford Kettering High School, is running for the Waterford School District Board of Education.

Actively engaged in his community, Tyler is committed to strengthening local schools through greater transparency, improved communication, and a stronger partnership between the township and school district. He is focused on retaining students and staff, supporting academic and extracurricular programs, and revitalizing athletics and PAVA to better serve students and families.

As a younger candidate, Tyler brings a fresh perspective—connecting with the next generation of parents while understanding the needs of today’s students. His experience in local leadership, nonprofit work, and small business ownership reflects his commitment to practical solutions and long-term success for the Waterford community.
