Matt Brown for St. Augustine City Commission
We have a choice to make about our town: do we want it to be a wonderful place to live that just so happens to have a lot of tourist attractions, or do we want it to be a tourist attraction that just happens to have some people living in it? I'm running to help restore the affordability and livability that made this town such a wonderful place to grow up in, so that my kids and their kids can have a chance to enjoy living in St. Augustine too.

My name is Matt Brown, and I'm looking forward to serving as a member of the St. Augustine City Commission. I'm a native Floridian, a 2000 graduate of St. Augustine High School, and the current chair of the St. Augustine Port, Waterway, and Beach District. After earning my law degree from NYU, I've spent the last fifteen years analyzing and developing public policy for Common Good, a nonpartisan, nonprofit good government group. I've lived downtown with my beautiful wife and ridiculous kids for over a decade, and I'm excited to help make St. Augustine the best place you could ever hope to live.
